- Goalkeeper Brayan Arce Justiniano recored four saves in the match, earning sixth on the Careers List

The #18 Carthage Men's Soccer Team (3-2-1, 0-0 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) faced a physical offense from Loras College (3-2), resulting in a 4-0 loss to the Duhawks.
Loras's Javi Simon scored twice in the match, the first coming in the seventh minute with a header from Spencer Moore. Simon's second goal would come in the second half on a penalty kick after Midfielder Matt Rojel received a yellow card.
The Duhawks scored twice in both halves with the second goal in the first half coming off a blocked cross, as Raudel Fierro fed the ball to Alex Herrera who slots to far post in the 34th minute. Mark Broderick would score the first goal of the second half off a 1-2 pass.
Forward Johnny Rimkus lead the Red Men offense in the match with a 4 shots, and one shot on goal. Zach Schoffstall and Ivan Esquivel also recorded 1 shot on goal each during the match. Kevin Mahoney, Kevin Reilly, Kevin Penarrieta, and Luke Schoffstall also contributed to the offense with 1 shot each.
Goalkeeper Bryan Arce Justiniano goes 1-2 on the season between the pipes. Justiniano collected four saves during the match on 14 shots faced. Justiniano's four saves clinched him the sixth spot on the Red Men Career Saves List.
The Red Men return to Art Keller field for a Wednesday, Sept. 20, night match against the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. Kickoff against the Warhawks is scheduled for 7 pm.
