Red Men to Host Augustana Vikings on Senior Night

The Carthage College Red Men (11-6-2, 4-2-1 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) will return to Art Keller Field for one last time in the 2017 season against conference rival Augustana College.


SETTING THE SCENE

- The Carthage Red Men will look to conclude their 2017 season slate at Art Keller Field, with a celebration before the match to honor the team's senior class.

- The Red Men currently sit at fourth in the CCIW behind 2017 Conference Champions North Park University, North Central College, and Illinois Wesleyan University.


LAST TIME OUT

- The Red Men scored a win against Carroll University by a 1-0 score to make for their fourth shutout win if the season.

- The victory solidified their post-season berth into the 2017 CCIW Tournament Championship.

- Adrian Herrera scored the game winning goal for the Red Men in the first half on a penalty kick.


SCOUTING THE VIKINGS

- The Vikings of Augustana College are 2-11-2 on the season and 1-6 in the CCIW.

- Matt Allen leads the Vikings with 3 goals and 1 assist for 7 points.

- Jeremy Klaber as made 79 saves and 25 goals against in 2017 for a 76 saves percentage at goalkeeper.

- The Red Men tie in the All-Time series against the Vikings with a 10-10-2 record.
